Abstract: | In this thesis, the sediment transport in the case of steady open channel flow is studied. The mai objectives were first the study of bed-load transport ans sediment concentration distribution in the bottom zone, the the study of suspended-load. A method wich enables to select an adapted bed-load formula is proposed. This method is based on the computation of the dimesionless variables and functions of the two phase phenomenon. Data experiments of Meyer-Peter have been used for calibration. A verification analysis using data according to Guy et al., Magdy et al. And Satya et al. Shows a satisfactory results. The determination of the concentration distribution in the bottom zone and especially the reference concentration Ca is proposed. An analytical solution of Schmidt’s equation in a genral for mis presented. After simplification, a model for the computation of the suspended transport of sediments is developed and is tested by data according to MISSISSIPPI river. A new approch is used in order to compute the total-load rate. Finally, all results are compiled in a general code "ANASED" (SEDIMENTATION ANALYSIS). |
