These General Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") aim to define the conditions and modalities for accessing and using the "Toubkal" Platform.

Access to and use of the Platform imply full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms by any user.

CNRST grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and consult the theses available on the "Toubkal" Platform.

Accordingly, the user is authorized to:

• Consult theses online.
• Download theses for strictly personal, academic, or research use.
• Cite theses, provided that scientific citation rules and applicable copyright laws are respected.

CNRST grants the user a personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and consult the theses available on the "Toubkal" Platform.

• The theses accessible on the "Toubkal" Platform are works protected by applicable intellectual property laws. They remain the property of their authors, namely doctoral students, and, where applicable, their affiliated institutions.
• Access to theses does not entail any transfer of intellectual property rights to the user. Any use of the content must comply with copyright rules and the applicable legal provisions.
• The "Toubkal" Platform and all its components, including its structure, organization, interfaces, databases, and contents other than theses, are the exclusive property of CNRST and are protected by applicable law.
• Any reproduction, representation, extraction, reuse, or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the Platform or any of its components, by any means whatsoever, without prior authorization, is prohibited.

The submission of theses to the "Toubkal" Platform is carried out exclusively by CNRST, based on official transmissions from universities and research institutions.

Users are not authorized to upload, publish, or place content online directly on the Platform.

The theses made available on the Platform are based on the information and documents provided by the relevant institutions, which ensure their transmission in compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions.

CNRST acts as the data controller for personal data collected via the "Toubkal" Platform.

The data collected are processed for the purpose of managing the theses available on the "Toubkal" Platform.

The recipients of the collected data are:

• The Administration.
• The supervisory Ministry.
• Any entity legally authorized to access them.

The data are retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

• The user is solely responsible for the use made of the content accessible on the "Toubkal" Platform.
• CNRST shall not be held liable for any use made of the theses, particularly in the event of non-compliance with the applicable legal provisions relating to intellectual property.
• As the theses made available on the Platform are transmitted by universities and research institutions, CNRST does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or relevance of the content provided.
• CNRST endeavors to ensure the proper functioning and accessibility of the Platform. However, it shall not be held liable in the event of unavailability, interruption, malfunction, or any technical incident affecting access to the Platform, regardless of the cause.
• More generally, CNRST shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

CNRST reserves the right to modify these General Terms of Use at any time and without prior notice. The modifications take effect as soon as they are published on the "Toubkal" Platform.

It is the user's responsibility to regularly consult the latest version of the Terms available on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the Terms in force.

These Terms are governed by Moroccan law.

Any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity, or performance of these Terms shall be brought before the competent courts of Rabat (Kingdom of Morocco).

The Platform is published by the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research, a public administrative institution established by Dahir No. 1.01.170 of 11 Joumada I 1422 (1 August 2001) promulgating Law No. 80.00.
